LIQUID METAL: A REVOLUTION IN TECHNOLOGY FOR HUMANITY

Imagine a world of abundance. Power is absorbed and distributed at 100% efficiency from the sun to any application humanity needs. Pollution is something only read about in history books thanks to new filtration technology. Green spaces are being revitalized with once extinct species of plants that are brought back in a once impossible process. Entirely new and exciting industries are being built upon a new technology. Liquid Metal: A revolution in technology for humanity.

Seoul, South Korea
Once known as a global trendsetter in AI and robotics, it is now the birthplace of a renaissance in materials science and a launchpad for the applications that will showcase and distribute this civilization-changing advancement worldwide.

existential risk through design

Course: Design graphique : interactivité
UQAM - Ronald Filion-Mallette

Objective
Use speculative design to communicate strategies for reducing existential risk.

Process
Research → Futures Frameworks → Scenario Building →
Preferred Future → Interactive Design Concept

thoughts

My teammate Florence has a contemplative approach to nature and now holds a master's degree in design, specializing in the integration of sustainable urban nature and the built environment. This project required compromise from my part to come up with a middle ground between high tech trans-humanism and nature preservation. The result is a project with even more depth and high tech components than the original concept.
